If you're flying in for our event we highly recommend flying into Bangor international airport (BGR) as it's roughly an hour and fifteen minutes from Mount Desert Island. Other options include the Bar Harbor airport which transfers from Boston (puddle jumpers) or Portland International (PWM) which is roughly three and a half hours from the island.

Bangor has many rental options- Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Alamo, Hertz, National, etc.

Other lodging facilities such as Airbnb, motels, and camping are available. Booking your lodging sooner than later will allow for more variety as Bar Harbor is a high-volume tourism town. We have set aside cottage rentals next door to our venue, that you can reserve on our wedding website.

Shuttle service will be provided for our ceremony. You can choose this shuttle service when you RSVP. For other carpool/shuttling services, the island is very limited. There is a free island explorer shuttle, and you can see the routes and schedule here-  Island Explorer Home
